Signwriting & gilding specialist
In 1987 aged 16 I went to work for Lorman & Greenway Signs, New Cross, London (who specialised in pub signs all hand written in gold leaf). They sent me to Hammersmith & West London College where I studied for 2 years on a block release course. I passed the City & Guilds in Signwork with distinction.
Then at the age of 19 I was made redundant and shortly after Lorman & Greenway went under. This gave me the push to start work on my own which I did working out of my mum's garage (thanks Mum!) and I am still self-employed to this day.
